Marketing Associate

The Opportunity

Most of our work still comes from the valley, and that is the thing we most want to change. This role exists to build Saraswoti Media's name in your own region — walking into shops, showrooms and offices, understanding what local businesses actually need, and bringing that back to a team that can make it. You will not be reading from a script. You will be the person who knows the market in Itahari, or in Butwal and Bhairahawa, better than anyone at head office does.

What You'll Do

• Visit local businesses in your area and introduce what we make and what it costs.
• Build and keep a list of real prospects — who they are, what they need, when they will be ready.
• Photograph completed installations in your region for our portfolio and social channels.
• Collect and pass on what clients actually ask for, including what we currently cannot do.
• Support local campaigns and events, and represent us properly at them.
• Report weekly on visits made, enquiries raised, and what the competition is doing locally.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year in sales, marketing, or field business development — any industry.
• Living in, and knowing, either the Itahari area or the Butwal-Bhairahawa area.
• Comfortable walking into a business you have never visited and starting a conversation.
• Strong spoken Nepali; English useful for written reporting.
• Able to travel locally. A motorcycle licence is an advantage, not a requirement.
