Hiring in Kathmandu
Factory Manager
The Opportunity
Our Budanilkantha factory is where acrylic, metal, light, and print become landmarks across Nepal. As Factory Manager you run it — the people, the machines, the standards, and the safety of everyone in the building. If you take pride in a workshop that runs clean, safe, and on time, this is your floor.
What You'll Do
- Run day-to-day factory operations across fabrication, welding, printing, CNC, and finishing.
- Manage, train, and roster the factory workforce; handle attendance and discipline.
- Own machine upkeep: preventive maintenance schedules, servicing, and repair call-outs.
- Enforce workshop safety — equipment guarding, protective gear, and incident reporting.
- Hold the quality standard on every piece before it is released for dispatch.
- Control material wastage and keep consumable usage within budget.
- Plan factory capacity with the Operations Manager ahead of peak periods.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a factory, workshop, or fabrication unit, with at least 2 years leading a team.
- Practical knowledge of fabrication and finishing processes, and the machines behind them.
- Serious about workplace safety and able to make it stick with a working team.
- Able to read technical drawings and judge finish quality by eye.
- Based in or able to commute daily to Budanilkantha. This is a full-time on-site role.
